Who it is for

You do not need a job title to be the person others turn to

If people come to you when things go wrong, this day is for you.

  • Workplaces and team leaders who want staff ready for a medical emergency and a hard conversation
  • Support workers and carers
  • Parents and family members
  • Community members, volunteers and club leaders
  • Anyone who has frozen once and never wants to freeze again

What you walk away with

  • A nationally recognised first aid qualification (the HLTAID course you choose)
  • The CARES action plan, a simple five step guide for supporting someone who is struggling
  • Practice, not just theory: hands-on first aid plus case studies and three role-plays
  • Confidence to act, and to know when to call 000 or refer to professional help

Mental Health Support in the Workplace and Community (non-accredited) is not a nationally recognised qualification. It builds practical skills and confidence. It does not make you a counsellor.
