HLTAID013 Provide First Aid in a Remote or Isolated Site. It builds on standard first aid and covers extended casualty care, improvising with limited resources, communication and evacuation planning. Many remote employers require it in addition to HLTAID011.
How often do I need to renew first aid in Australia?
HLTAID011 First Aid is valid for 3 years. The CPR component should be refreshed every 12 months in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. HLTAID013 follows the same 3 year cycle.
How quickly do certificates come through?
Within 24 business hours of successful completion. Certificates are issued through ABC First Aid RTO 3399 and are nationally recognised.
