Privacy Policy

REACHAU is Regional Education and Career Help Australia, a social enterprise based in Western Australia. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle your information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

The short version: we only ask for what we need to run your course, answer your enquiry or send you what you asked for. We do not sell your information. You can ask us to see it, fix it or stop emailing you at any time.

Who we are

Regional Education and Career Help Australia (REACHAU) is run by Britt Brennan. First aid training is delivered by Britt on behalf of ABC First Aid RTO 3399. ABC First Aid is the Registered Training Organisation and handles enrolment, payment, assessment records and certificates through its own booking system. ABC First Aid has its own privacy practices, which are set out in its Student Handbook.

What we collect

Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number and business or organisation name
  • Your suburb or location, and the course, venue or product you are interested in
  • Details you choose to put in a message, enquiry form or quote request
  • Your answers to a quiz and your quiz score
  • Delivery details if you request a quote for products from our store
  • Records of emails and messages we send you, and whether you opened or clicked them
  • Basic website information such as pages visited, device type and approximate location

Most course payments are made on the ABC First Aid booking site. If you pay us directly, for example for an event or a product, your payment is processed by a secure third-party payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.

Why we collect it

  • To answer your enquiry and give you a quote
  • To run and follow up your first aid course, workshop or employment support program
  • To send you a resource you asked for, such as a quiz result or resource pack
  • To remind you when a certificate is due for renewal, if you have opted in to hear from us
  • To send occasional practical safety and training updates, if you have opted in
  • To improve our website, courses and services
  • To meet our legal and training compliance obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. We only share it with people and services that help us deliver what you asked for:

  • ABC First Aid RTO 3399, for course enrolment, assessment and certificates
  • Our software providers, including Tekmatix (our website, forms, CRM and email platform) and the email delivery services it uses
  • Referral partners, such as an employment services provider who referred you to a course, but only where that is needed to confirm your attendance or participation
  • Advertising and analytics services, such as Google and Meta, which may collect information through cookies or tracking pixels on our website
  • Regulators or other authorities, where the law requires us to

Some of these providers store information on servers outside Australia. We choose providers that take security seriously, but we cannot control how every overseas provider operates.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tools to make pages work, understand how people use the site and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Emails and marketing

We only send marketing emails to people who have asked for them or who have an existing relationship with us. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and ask to be removed. Emails about a course you have booked, such as session details, will still be sent.

How we keep your information safe

Your information is held in password protected systems. Access is limited to Britt and the service providers listed above. We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above or as the law requires, and we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.

Seeing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If we cannot give you access or cannot delete something, we will tell you why. Records held by ABC First Aid, such as assessment records, are managed under ABC First Aid's own policies and may need to be requested from them.
