Refresh CPR every 12 months and your full first aid certificate every 3 years. A Statement of Attainment has no legal expiry date, but most employers, industries and registration bodies use these timeframes to decide whether you are current. Their requirements take priority, so check what your workplace asks for.

A yearly refresher puts your hands back on a manikin. You re-learn how hard and how fast to push, how to use an AED with confidence, and you catch up on any changes to Australian guidelines.
A certificate says you passed once. Regular practice is what makes you the person who steps forward.
